Dogs, Drones & Dope—An Overview of Pet Insurance, Small Craft Aviation & Cannabis Risks

For this session, I spend an hour on each emerging topic for three of the fastest growing segments of the insurance industry. I’ll share examples and break down Pet Insurance for domesticated animals and the expanding markets that provide coverage. I’ll also provide an overview of the Homeowners form’s response to smaller, hobby-based drones and expanding small business exposures. And, lastly, touch on the intricacies in insuring cannabis-related businesses and cover some insurance trends in the marijuana industry.
